Still enamored with the idea of afternoon tea, my friend B. and I made another date to have afternoon tea. This time, we visited Tea-Upon-Chatsworth. Having sampled the Queen’s Tea a few years back, we tried the “Windsor Tea” menu that offered 8 food items. On this 2nd visit to Tea-Upon-Chatsworth, I was pleased to see that they change their menu seasonally. They also allow guests at the same table to order separate menus (B. ordered the vegetarian version and I had the regular menu) which is great because not all tea rooms have this option. They usually require one menu for the entire table.
Also, I’m not really sure what was going on with the tea as it was once again, not memorable. Isn’t it a bit of a paradox when tea rooms can’t get the tea right? Otherwise, I quite enjoyed my 2nd visit to Tea-Upon-Chatsworth.
